Huntin’ and Prophction have a lot in common: Both involve helping someone else defeat an animal (hunting) or a monster (prophesying), but there are significant differences as well. In this game, you play as either a hunter or a prophet. Both roles require you to use your own team of hunters and/or preachers to kill various types of animals and/or stop various religious prophesies from happening. But the tasks are different in each role – as a hunter, you have to rely on your own skills and weapons while as a preacher, you need others to help

The game is set in a fictional world where bullets are replaced with "Hunter Points" that can be spent to gain advantages over targets. Players can also hire other players as Hunters to take them out in a firefight. While it appears simple on the surface, the HUNT system introduces a lot of strategies and tactics that most players are unfamiliar with.
